Jensine is 16 years old and has been dancing since the age of 4. She started at Miss Joanne’s School of Dance, in Drayton Valley, and moved to Grande Prairie at age 11 to train at Diverse Dance Company.  Her favourite genres of training include contemporary and jazz. She has also trained extensively in Cicchetti as well as RAD ballet, lyrical, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, and acrobatics. Jensine started competitively dancing at age 8 and has attended countless competitions all throughout Alberta and BC. She has placed top 10 teen soloist twice at Northern Force Dance Challenge as well as top 3 senior soloist at Dance Drive Festival 2022.  She has taken part in many conventions and workshops including multiple Nuvo Dance Conventions in which she received a scholarship for Jazz/Contemporary Stand Out. Jensine undeniably loves teaching and mentoring young dancers. She has been assisting and teaching since age 12 in ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics. She is looking forward to continue teaching new genres and new choreography. She is thrilled to be apart of the 2022/23 Diverse Dance team to work with the amazing faculty and teach the joyful young dancers of the studio.
