JILLIAN
Known for her unique movement style and her loud and fast feet, Jillian loves nothing more than to perform, choreograph, and inspire! Growing up in Grande Prairie, Jillian trained and competed in all genres of dance. Jillian holds many competitive titles including winning 1st place top overall soloist at the Grand Championships for Shy Ann Dance Productions and Showtime Dance Promotions, and 5678 Showtime’s Dancer of the Year. Upon graduation, she moved to Vancouver where she was a member of the renowned Source Dance Company. During this time, she travelled as a tour assistant with Groove Street Productions, assisting and training closely with the industry’s leading professionals and choreographers.
Jillian has found herself dancing all over the world. Some of her credits include dancing for Michael Buble, Lululemon Athletica, So You Think You Can Dance Canada, the 2010 Olympics, Elise Estrada, M.A.D.D Rhythms Canada, and Jenna Bryson. She has performed in stage shows for London Drugs, Lululemon Live in Times Square, BC Sport Awards, Fashion Music Art Awards, Disney, Dance for a Cure Seattle, and the International Law Organization, to name a few. Jillian was also a member of Kill the Lights, a multi diverse Hip Hop crew and competed professionally as a member of an all-female Hip Hop crew called Cassie Jackson, known for their diversity and charisma.
While dance was her first love, Jillian also holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology, and works as a Therapist. Jillian is inspired daily by her students and loves nothing more than seeing each one discover more about who they are and experience a sense of Joy that can only be found through the gift of dance.
